Description:

Passiflora edulis is a vine species of passion flower (Passifloraceae) that is native to Brazil, Paraguay and northern Argentina. It is cultivated all around the world in tropical and subtropical areas for its sweet, seedy fruits. By cold pressing of the seeds is obtained a light oil with golden-green color remebering the Passion Fruit, with very pleasant taste and odor.

Composition, actives:

very rich in linoleic acid (63%), contains an aromatic substance (passiflorin) that reduces anxiety, improves sleep, and reduces stress and fatigue.

Part used: seed
Applications, properties:

the linoleic acid (omega 6) acts in the restoration of the lipid layer of the skin and provides moisturizing and emollient properties that increase the silkiness of the skin. The oil gives a relaxing sensation.
