Quality is about ensuring the regulatory compliance of our business and the relevance of our processes.
In this sense we guarantee :
- The intrinsic quality of our natural raw materials, in agreement with the European Pharmacopoeia and the specifications of our customers.
- Complete batches traceability throughout the supply chain : from the reception of the raw material harvested at the origin until the shipment of the finished product.
- Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). It results in the development and the respect of our procedures and HACCP study (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point). HACCP is a method of controlling, preventing and reducing to an acceptable level the biological, physical or chemical hazards.
Producers audits
Our producers are regularly audited by local government agencies for quality and sanitary controls. We also carry out audits of their facilities, processes and quality control procedures. On site we check among other things the control of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, batch identification and traceability.
Batch Analyzes
Physico-chemical and microbiological analyzes of the batches are carried out by our suppliers and / or by specialized and accredited European laboratories. They are conducted according to rigorous methodologies, according to the standards of the European Pharmacopoeia and, where applicable, those of organic agriculture.
On request, in the case of a direct shipment without going through our stocks in France, shipments can be controlled at the origin, sampled and analyzed by independent service providers (SGS, etc…).
Certifications
Many of our suppliers are GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO certified. Biovontade companies are certified by ECOCERT for a range of organic raw materials and ingredients for food and cosmetics.
